    Born in village of Medlice, town of Krumlov, county of Znojmo, Moravia. Married 1868. Settled in Linwood in 1881. Info from findagrave. His obit states they had 16 children, 8 of whom died in their early years. Obit states his wife's maiden name is Moltyn, but it should be Foltyn, because "uncle" Frant Foltyn is buried next to Jan.
