Per family information they had a daughter Anna J. born in 1884 in Nebraska and Daisey, born in 1888, died in about 1900-1905. Per family information both of these young daughters are buried here too. Ancestry shows Daisy died in 1959 and was married to an Urbanek, but this could be misinformation.
Information from the nuns at the diocese office in Lincoln and per Larry Behne, cemetery records keeper, Johanna (Kovar) Kirchner owned these cemetery lots according to old cemetery records. Johanna's obit states that she died in Omaha but was brought to the Catholic Church for burial in Brainard. She was 88 years old.
Family source: Norma L. Wolfe, Beaver Crossing, NE said Jakub and Johanna were her Great-Grand parents. Per Norma, Jakub and Johanna moved to Brainard from Appleton approximately in 1903 and were very good friends with Msgr. Klein and his family. They were devoted Catholics and memers of Holy Trinity Church. Johanna and her daughter, Mary, were Msgr. Klein's cook and housekeeprs for many years. Mary was Norma's grandmother.
