    Memorial stone for Anton J. Rejda Jr. Veteran, Private, Co. K, 125 Infantry Regiment, 32nd Division, Nebraska Army National Guard. Killed in action at Juvigny, France and buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery at Aisne, France. Age: 22 years. Brainard American Legion Rejda Post #273, is named after him. He was the first Brainard area soldier to die in World War I.
