Born in Bilanech, Czechoslovakia. Immigrated 4/3/1887 from Hamburg, Germany to NY, arriving 4/19/1887. He was a millwright carpenter and contractor. He built flour mills in Prauge, Abie, and Weston. In 1914 he settled in Dwight and built the Dwight Flour Mill. He was muscially talented. He played the violin and taught music at an early age. Age: 83 years, 7 months, 4 days.
