Nebraska, SGT Co. H., 79th Infantry, World War I Veteran. He and his brother, Manley "Ganney" operated a barber shop and cafe in the building where their father had a pool hall business. His brother, Manley, was a state senator and authored the "Ice Cream Bill" which fixed the solid milk content for ice ceam at 18 ounces to a quart. This created a market for more milk solids and thus increased the income for the farmers of Nebraska.
