Founded in 1895 when several Catholic families in the area organized to purchase a cemetery site. Leopold Hotovy solved this problem by donating an acre of land for this purpose. Later in the year 1908, another acre was purchased for the sum of $50.
The first officers of this Cemetery Association were Vaclav Krenk, Josef F. Coufal, and Frank Houska. It was officially organized on January 1, 1896. The first burial was recorded on February 13, 1896, when Mary Hotovy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Hotovy, passed away. The services were by Rev. Alois Klein.
From the corner of Highways 15 and 66, take Hwy. 66 (23rd Rd.) 4 miles East to Rd. S. The cemetery is located on the south side of the highway. The cemetery is located in Section 25 of Plum Creek Township.
