Scott, F. C. Home

1904 tax roll lists the owner as Ella B. Scott, wife of Fred C. Scott, Block 4, Lot 5, Miles 1st addition, value $720. This home, once located on the northwest corner of 9th & D Streets, was moved in the late 1970's or early 1980's and the lot is now used as a parking lot for David City Public Schools. Only the north portion of this home exists today. It is located on 10th Street, between B & C Streets and has been made into an apartment. Fred C. Scott worked at a hardware store in David City until they moved to Kearney some time before 1910. Fred Scott operated a furniture store in Kearney.
