Steele, Sam Home

1904 tax roll lists the owner as Sam W, Steel, Blk. 11, Lots 1 & 4, Orig. DC, value $460. The house lo longer exists. The home that is currently there was the home of Mr. & Mrs. Adolph Hansen. Adolph operated a meat market on the south side of the downtown square in the 1930's-50's with his brother Frank Hansen (father of Herman Hansen). In the 1960's-90's it was the home of Merle & Helen Morgan and family. It is located on the southwest corner of 5th & G Streets.
