    Blk 32, Lots 21,22,23 & 24, is the home behind the trees. To the right is the back of the Perkin's Hotel, with the courthouse tower visible in the background. 1904 tax records list the owner of the 4 lots as John Bredwell, value $400. John Westover owed lots 19 & 20, value $560, which indicates there were improvements but the property is not visible because of the trees. This would have been the location of Rominger's 2-story brick building, which is the oldest surviving business building in David City.
