    1904 tax records list the owner as G. A. Schaaf, Blk. 4, Lots 7,10 & 11, Litt's 2nd Addition, value $150. The house is no longer at this location and it is not known if G.A. Schaaf and Frank Schaaf were the same person or related in any way. Harold H. Schaaf, who was in the abstracting and insurance business in David City during the 1930's and 40's, lived on the northeast corner of G & 4th Streets.
