    1904 tax rolls list the owner as S.C. Bennison, Block 45, Lots 2,3,6, Orig. DC, value $500. The home no longer exists but was the home of A.V. Thomas in the 1920's thru the 1950's. The home was also owned by Harlan & Helen (Sharky) Hendricks. The Bennisons operated a grocery store on the East side of the downtown square.
