    Business - M.J. Bouse - Merchant - Tailor; S.D. Coe (rocking chair on top of roof). Block 18, Original town of DC, 5th St., South to North: City National Bank, Vacant Lot (belonged to City Nat'l Bank, George Etting Bldg, City Alley, Anna L. Boston (bldg. removed for parking lot - lot 19, valued at $300), M.J. Bouse (Lot 20, valued at $300), Lettie Tillma (Lot 21, valued at $300), Railroad Co. owned Lot 22. Tall structure in background was City Water standpipe supply, located on Lots 23, 24, 25 and 26, which was the original City Office. The standpipe was demolished some time in the 1930s and the City Office was relocated in the Shramek Bank Building on the Southwest corner of Block 26 and remained there until about 1998.
