Born in Czechoslovakia and came to America with his parents and sister on Nov. 23, 1892. Settled for a short time in Chicago, then moved to Odell, Ne. In 1908 they moved to a farm near Brainard. Married: 2/2/1916 and then moved to a farm east of Ulysses in 1920.
