    Information from ancestry.com. Born in Centre PA. He served in the military in Iowa. Veteran. Mary died in 1884. He married Anna (1849-1928) in Tama County Iowa on 8/29/1869. In 1870 Census he was living in Vienna, Iowa. But the source said he died in Butler County Nebraska. 1880 Census shows the family is still living in Vienna, Marshall, Iowa.
