    Born in Bartimore, Maryland. Married Hannah prior to 1849. They were the parents of Albert and Laura. Civil War Veteran, enlisting 8-15-1862. Hannah died circa 1866. Married to Margaret Wellever 3-29-1865, Mercer Co., Illinois. Came to Butler County, Nebraska sometime before the 1880 U.S. Census. Daughter Ann Rebecca (Disney) Kuhlman is buried in Brainard I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
