Born in Moravia. Immigrated to the U.S. circa 1882. Employed as a tailor at M.J. Bouse's Tailer Shop in David City. Married in St. Paul, Nebraska circa 1894. Parents of six children, one dying in infancy. Following his death, his wife married Vincent Hajek and is buried in the David City Cemetery.
