    Born in Luxemburg. Immigrated with his parents to Iowa in 1855. Corp. Co. L., 5th IA Cavalry, Civil War Veteran- Union. Married 12-30-1867. Came to Butler County, Nebraska, with his six children circa 1882. His wife died about 1882-85.
