    Born in Hollandtown, WI. He came to NE with his parents 1878. He married Mabel Leidy at St. Francis Church, Butler Co, 1-18-1911. They farmed in rural Butler Co., then moved to Schuyler and eventually moved to David City where he worked as a carpenter.
