    Born in Hollandtown, WI. Came to NE with his parents in 1878. Married Mary Van Lom at St. Francis Church, Butler Co., NE. They farmed near Brainard until 1909, when they moved to David City. He was a pioneer automobile dealer in David City since 1912.
