    Obituary lists birth date as 1-1-1854. He was born in Stark Co., Ohio. Moved with his parents to ILL in 1868. Married 12-13-1874 in ILL. Moved to NE in 1878, locating on a farm eight miles southwest of Bellwood. Died at the home of his sister, Mary Smith, in Central City, NE.
