    He married Roberta on 6/19/1976 in Brainard. They lived in Louisiana, Texas and Oklahome before moving to Brainard in 1989. He enlisted in the US Marines on 2/12/1968. He served during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on 8/26/1969. He is buried at the Harmony Cemetery in Strang, Nebraska.
