    Findagrave states that he was buried in David City Cemebery as does Ancestry.com. Born in Warrenton, VA.

    Findagrave indicates that his parents are "Ezekiel L. and Mary E.(Haley) Skinner Jr." but this cannot be correct. Ezekiel and Mary had a son named "John E" but he died around 1859 so that is not this John Skinner.
