    Born in Germany. Married Louisa Mauzy in 1844 in Keokuk, Iowa. Came to Butler County in April 26, 1870. Per Findagrave he is buried next to his wife. Louisa died 1/19/1886. Per Ancestry.com he had a wife Eliza born in 1810 in IL and a wife Louisa Clark who died in 1886.
