    Brother of Jane McBride. Born in Ireland. Married in New Orleans but his wife died 3 days later. Came to Iowa. Co.F, 35th Iowa Infantry, Civil War Veteran. 1873 he homesteaded in Platte Township, Butler Co., NE. Lived with his sis in David City, Mrs. McKim.
