    Born in Jordan, Green Co., WI. Married in Monroe WI on 3/2/1862. Civil War Veteran, 31st Wisc. Infantry. Came to Butler Co., NE, in 1870, locating on a farm northeast of Brainard. Died in Seattle, King Co., WA.
    Obit states they had 13 children. All Children's names were gotten from ancestry.com. (14). Ancestry shows child named Elmer and not as Elma. His wife died in 1890.
