Promoted Regimental Veterinary Surgeon 2 Jul 1863 under G.O 110 of 1863, War Dep't A.G.O. reorganizing the cavalry. Returned to company, cause not found, 1 Jan 1864. Mustered out 20 Jan 1864 when his term of enlistment expired.
