    Born in Slatina Co, Kralovice, Bohemia. Emigrated to the US in 1867 and settled in Terre Haute, IN for 7 yrs. Died of stomach cancer. He married Petronella Hess 1-26-1871. Came to NE in 1874 settling first in Schuyler NE, moving to David City in 1880.
