Born circa 1843 in New Jersey. According to the 1860 U.S. Census, Henry was living with his parnets, Elias and Mary Phillips Forbes, in Illinois. Married Almira circa 1860, probably in Illinois. Civil War Veteran. Came to Nebraska some time before 1870, settling near Weeping Water, Cass County, Nebraska. According to the 1880 U.S. Census, they were living in Gage County, Nebraska. Almira died in 1893. According to the 1900 Census Henry was married to Mary (b. 1852 in Ohio), and was living in Otero County, Colorado. They lived were living in Washington in 1910. There is no known death dath for Henry.
