    History book shows born 5/5/1837 in Colbitz, Prussia. Married 11/24/1867 & shortly after came to U. S. They first settled in Ill. & in1872 came to Ne., Skull Creek Township where he homesteaded. Andreas became a citizen of the U. S. 5/22/1878. The stone shows the name as Johann but he was known as Andreas or Andrew Johann, Andrew J.
    Info from ancestry.com shows they were married 11/24/1867 in Cobiz. Per his marriage cert. his name is listed as Johann Christoph Andreas Behne.
    It states that they were married in Sachsen, Deutschland.
    They departed Hamburg on 5/13/1868 and arrived in NYC on 5/23/1868.
    Frist son, Adrew J. was born in 1870 in Rock Island, IL, second son was born 1872 in Bruno, NE.
