Born in Indiana. Married George Dille and had four children with him. Being left a widow, she with her two small children came to Nebraska in 1879. Here she married Harvey Burgess, on 5/12/1889, and to them two sons were born, Harvey and Omer. Harvey S. Burgess is buried in Fairview Cemetery near Rising City with his first wife, Harriet (Brewer).
