Born at Carp Lake, Mich. Came to the Bruno area with his parents at nine years of age, locating on a farm near Bruno, NE. Married in Schuyler. After his marriage he lived near Rushville moving back to Bruno in 1903. He operated a livery stable until 1919. He was the first rural mail carrier out of Bruno. Age: 80 years.
